Dune Awakening
I collaborated on this project as a co-development partner with YAGER on Dune: Awakening, contributing to core gameplay systems as part of a distributed engineering team. Worked closely with design, animation, and online teams to deliver scalable features aligned with project standards and pipelines, ensuring smooth integration within a large-scale multiplayer production environment.
Climbing SYSTEM
Implemented the climbing system for Dune: Awakening by extending Unreal Engine’s Character Movement Component. Developed custom traversal mechanics including surface detection, climb state handling, and movement constraints to support seamless vertical navigation as well as navigation on ceilings. Focused on responsiveness and integration with animation and gameplay systems to ensure a fluid player experience in a large-scale multiplayer environment.
